COOLANGATTA, Queensland, Australia (Saturday, June 21, 2025) – The World Surf League (WSL) Asia Pacific (APAC) is excited to announce it has expanded its partnership with Bonsoy, the ‘Official Milk’ of the WSL, to include the Asia Regional Qualifying Series (QS).
The Bonsoy Asia Super Series will accumulate points from up to six QS 6,000 events in five countries by year’s end to celebrate the best performers from the Asia Region. From event to event, the rankings leader will wear the ‘Bonsoy Leader Jersey’ and after the completion of the Taiwan Open of Surfing, the series winners will enjoy a cash bonus along with the glory of being named the best men’s and women’s surfer in the Asia Region for 2025.
“WSL is extremely thankful to continue our partnership with Bonsoy and see it expand into the Asia region for this series,” said WSL APAC President Andrew Stark. “The Asia QS showcases some of the best waves in the world, from Nias in Indonesia, to Japan and Taiwan and beyond. It really is one of the best legs of events on the WSL calendar. The best performers at these locations truly deserve great recognition, and we thank Bonsoy for getting on board to shine a light on this incredible region, its fantastic surfers and idyllic locations.”

“With a long association in Asia in both a business and personal life for us at Bonsoy, it is exciting to be able to announce the extension of our partnership with WSL into the ASIA SUPER SERIES,” said Bonsoy’s Marketing Director Raphaelle Wilson. “With the dynamics of all these locations, the breaks, the food, the people, this series has been a long time in the making, but for Bonsoy and our customers, excitement does not explain how we feel.”
